Hey everyone, it’s Oz. I’m sorry about the silent shift into 2020, a lot of personal things are happening right now that have mostly halted page progress. I’ve been running into a lot of art burnout with the comic. It’s not that I don’t enjoy working on it, it’s just that it can drain me quite easily. I don’t have a specific place or time I get to do pages, and a new pet introduced into my household has been aggravating the time I need to work on pages. I’m also moving, and soon will be getting a place of my own. I’ve been waiting until that time to be able to have a set place and time to work on pages. So please, I ask you all to bare with me until then. This comic is very much a priority, but my health and personal life are much more valuable to me.

Hey y'all, with the second half of chapter 5 left to do, I would like to remind everyone that we will be going on a sizable hiatus to concept, write, and sketch out the next few chapters. We’re going to try to get act 1 finished up before we start inking it all. This may take some time, as I do have a job and I’m the only artist. I’m doing all of this for free as well, mostly because I do want to have enough content out to warrant having any sort of income from it.

In any case, I would like to make the comic much more official, so we are going to overhaul a lot of things on the website itself. Information on the lore, characters, and the creators will be updated.

Currently, there isn’t much feedback on the comic across all platforms it’s on. That’s the reality of it. It’s a relatively unknown comic, and there is very little substance of it. I’m also very horrible at marketing it specifically because I don’t like being a shill. But this sort of void cuts deeply into my work process of the comic, slowing down the output further. I understand that creating any sort of content is a big gamble, but for my entire time on the internet I’m just an extremely unknown artist and content creator. I’m not really sure where to go from here, other than to just keep working at it and hope people will read what I have to offer.

The next two inktober prompts Overgrown and Legend will be a bit late, I’m recovering from a day without medication.
